Execute Chain within a Chain, Start Node Improvements
Release Date: 21 December 2019
OneCloud will be making platform enhancements, Saturday, December 21, 2019, from 1 pm to 3 pm EDT. There will be no downtime for this release.
Chain within a Chain Execution
The ability to execute another Chain within a Chain is now available. This allows for reusable (modular) Chain operations across multiple use cases. Outputs from the Chain being called can be used as input in the next command within the current Chain. This is a significant step forward for the OneCloud platform and we strongly suggest reviewing the documentation to fully utilize the power of this feature.

Start Node Improvements
The Start node of the Chain Builder Studio has been enhanced to improve the Chain Builder experience. Improvements include:
- Visual cues to indicate a required start node Command.
- Initial Command added to a blank chain automatically assigned to the Start node (when double-clicked).
- Improved error information when attempting to publish a Chain that does not have a proper start Command.
Default Name of New Commands in a Chain
When adding a new Command to the Chain Builder Studio, the default name of the Command object will no longer be "New Node #x" but instead the name of the Command.
The following defects are fixed in this platform update
- Executor finder URLs are incorrect. (Ticket #1366: Task fails with "The requested page does not exist. Click below to return to the home page.")
